   I don't watch a lot of romcoms, either, and none in the theater. It's a genre I'll leave on my TV if there's nothing better on. That aside, this has been a great year for movies with black leads. I particularly enjoyed Sorry to Bother You and Blindspotting. But in my case, both of those hit somewhat close to home in a literal sense. They're set in Oakland, CA. I grew up in San Leandro just south of Oakland. In fact, there's a scene in the latter movie that was filmed right outside my parents old skate shop.
